What is an Assessment Centre ?

EPSO Assessment Centre enables all key competencies, as organisational and communication skills or analysis and problem solving skills, to be tested properly and reliably. The emphasis is on job-related-competency-based testing rather than factual knowledge. Based on an enhanced competency framework exercises will be selected to evaluate the desired skills. The case study is usually conducted in the candidate's second language (English, French or German), except for profiles requiring specific language skills.

The course will cover both the theoretical part about the case as well as the practical part. There will be tailored made cases for each field of the competition- finance/accounting, economics/statistics and audit. Feedback will be given to participants who solve the case study after the course. A standard answer to the case will also be provided to participants.
